As you make your way around your spacious new room or bungalow, you will likely notice - with some delight - that all the air conditioners work really well. Besides refreshingly cool air, you will also likely notice a Television with cable or satellite, hairdryers, mini bars, telephone lines, coffee makers, alarm clocks, large beds, spacious bathrooms, a safe and your own personal balcony for winding down on in the evenings. And all that is just your room! When you venture out for a meal, you will have your choice of two restaurants. One is buffet-style, another specializes in char grilled meats. The a la carte restaurant is not usually part of your travel package and costs extra, but is worth it for the exclusive atmosphere. Both restaurants offer a variety of well cooked, tasty, regional dishes.

When you're not eating and sleeping, you can be sure you'll be very busy enjoying yourself with other recreational pursuits. There are 2 swimming pools - one with a snack bar for your convenience, a beach bar, Jacuzzi, gym, hairdresser, massage service, gift shop, pharmacy, jewelry boutique, travel agency, terraces and gardens, a small zoo, a discotheque and casino. There are also 12 rooms available for conventions and conferences as well as a business center which has secretarial services, a fax and a modem.

If you'd prefer to stay outdoors and get active, resort facilities include two tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a soccer field and an athletic track. Horseback riding is available from the local riding school and there are plenty of water sports to choose from such as scuba diving, windsurfing and kayaking. Other useful services include a laundry, medical services, car rental, postal services, fax, e-mail, internet access, and a small, airport suitable for most private aircraft.

So as you lay in your hammock spun between two palms watching the sun go down over a blissful sea, you can be sure that all your needs are catered for. There is nothing to worry about in this beautiful part of Central America - not even the air conditioning!
